The last word in milling

The Ωmega-MX milling machine offers dual-armed versatility.

Information provided by Ferraro Engineering.

The versatile Ωmega-MX milling machine features a dual-arm design, which allows the technician to dedicate each arm for a specific task; the electric motor can be mounted on either arm to accommodate left- or right-handed users. Its dual adjustable hand rests track the motion of the high-torque variable-speed motor, and its dual milling mode allows traditional milling on the master model or on an analog (transfer) model. Additional features include a surveyor-style platform that facilitates analog model milling as well as traditional surveying. To accommodate both crown-and-bridge and removable departments, it also features a model tilt platform “adapter” that allows the mounted model to be transferred to a Ney-type surveyor.
