A new and exclusive product of Remedent, GlamSmile is the first full-arch minimally invasive veneer delivery and placement system. Unlike traditional one-veneer-at-a-time placement methodology, GlamSmile technology features a proprietary tray delivery system that provides the opportunity and the tools for any practitioner to expertly seat 10 beautiful veneers at one time in less than one hour without compromising healthy tooth structure.
Inventor, Dr. Evelyne Jacquemyns, a renowned dental practitioner in Gent, Belgium, created GlamSmile to offer designer smiles to all of her patients, not just the fortunate few who could afford more costly porcelain veneers. A successful cosmetic dentist for more than 25 years, Dr. Jacquemyns also wanted to create a time-saving, profit-generating delivery method that was easy to incorporate into any practice, and was a non-technique-sensitive veneer placement system that would provide excellent esthetics regardless of the practitioner’s level of skill or experience.
In collaboration with Remedent, Dr. Jacquemyns embarked on years of research culminating in the development of the unique GlamSmile Veneer Delivery System utilizing state-of-the-art digital scanning and CAD/CAM technology to produce individually custom-crafted veneers fitted in a patent-pending tray for a precisely accurate placement of up to 10 veneers simultaneously. Composed of pure porcelain or custom hybrid (composite/porcelain), GlamSmile veneers are strong, yet ultra-thin with an inherent flexibility and luminosity (see Before and After photos, above).
It is due to this unique tray delivery system that GlamSmile veneers can be placed quickly and less expensively. This presents practitioners with an almost unlimited income-generating opportunity and creates a non-invasive, low-cost cosmetic veneer solution for the many Americans who are unhappy with their smiles.

The GlamSmile process requires two short patient visits. The first consists of taking “before” photographs and impressions and the second is for seating one or both arches of up to 10 veneers per arch, as well as taking “after” photographs. This significant reduction in chairtime and material cost, coupled with the proven technique component of the delivery system, directly impacts the consumer price point.
The procedure is designed to provide an affordable option for patients looking to improve their smile and to produce impressive returns to the practice.
However, the procedure is also a healthy, patient-friendly cosmetic solution. The GlamSmile process suggests only a minimal enamelplasty of the healthy tooth surface. In addition, no anesthesia is needed because there is no pain or healing time associated with the procedure.
In support of affordable smile redesign solutions, recent research conducted by Dr. Anne Beall, social psychologist and market research pro, on behalf of the American Academy of Cosmetic Dentistry (AACD) indicates that an “improved smile makes people appear more interesting, intelligent, wealthy and successful to other people.” Prior AACD (2004) research and statistics also revealed that Americans place a high value on their smiles: 74% of adults feel an unattractive smile can affect career success while 99.7% believe that overall a good smile is an important social asset.
This information probably comes as no surprise to dental professionals. What is surprising, and unfortunate, is that most dental patients interested in changing elements of their smile don’t even ask about the procedures available because they assume the cost will be prohibitive. Until now, they may have been correct.
GlamSmile veneers are a viable solution for both practitioners and patients. This technological advancement makes it possible for dentists to offer a cosmetic solution that is easy, technique-proven, non-invasive, profitable and, for the first time ever, affordable for the majority of their patients. GlamSmile offers practitioners the opportunity to transform their patients’ lives as well as their practice’s profitability.
