Sanders; I have been a full-time practicing dental hygienist for the past 12 years. With my gradual transition of career choices I have recently joined Sunstar, maker of GUM and Butler brands, as an Associate Marketing Manager. In this new role I am able to share my years of clinical knowledge and practical experience to help develop new products and programs that will meet the needs of hygienists and their patients. Throughout my dental career I have taken pride in always recommending products that I have researched and personally valued. I continually looked for oral health aids that would be beneficial to the needs of each patient as an individual. GUM and Butler brands provided the wide array of products I could always depend on. The large product line goes way beyond toothbrushes and includes interproximal brushes, flossing aids, and many specialty items. This comprehensive product offering allows the dental hygienist the ability to customize recommended treatment to each patient. These individualized recommendations are more personal and more beneficial than the standard samples of a brush, paste, and floss.
